You begin your reading by setting the intention to get what you want out of the reading. Know what you want and ask you questions that will lead you to your desired outcome.

But, if you're a psychic, why do I have to ask questions? Shouldn't you already know what I want?

A psychic reading is a two-way communication. If you are unclear about your reading then your reading will be fuzzy. Asking questions set the reading in motion and directs the reading along the lines you are seeking. The more focused your questions, the more focused the reading. This is basic common sense.

Testing the psychic is a bad idea for several reasons. The first reason follows the law of karma. What goes around, comes around. If you put a negative intent on the reading from the beginning then you might just get negative results that have nothing to do with the psychic. Take responsibility for what you put out!

Another reason that is not a good idea to go into a reading with the idea of testing the psychic is that you are wasting time- your time and the time and energy of the psychic. Do this even if you are provided with a tape of the reading. Selective memory gets in the way of accuracy so it is up to you to be diligent in your notes to really make a fair assessment over time.
